In 2007 my family of five visited New York City, staying in midtown Manhattan near Broadway and Times Square. The Broadway shows were the highlight of the trip for me, but we also saw a Yankees game and many sights.This summer in June 2009, my husband and I returned to NYC, staying in the same Manhattan hotel, enjoying the sights, four Broadway shows, and the Late Show with David Letterman. What a great place to vacation!

I won tickets to Late Show With David Letterman by answering a trivia question on the phone. The filming was Thursday afternoon at 4:30 for that evening's show with Denzel Washington and the Jonas Brothers. Regis Philbin read theTop Ten List. Later that night Dave left the Ed Sullivan Theatre as we stood across the street waiting for the cast of Shrek. Patrick took this photo of Dave driving away.

   2007--
Three days after
we saw CURTAINS,
David Hyde Pierce
won the Tony Award
for Best Leading Actor.


He signed autographs
and posed for photos
after the show.
I was star-struck!
